Concerned "citizen" writing on JT's...DAVID NUGENT? Concerned "citizen" writing on JT's demise? Who he? Here's who:

from blog:

http://forbesparkcon.blogspot.com/

There are certain elements who want to do whatever it takes to discredit this site and with that I realize that some of the comments are missing the focus of why I started blogging to have justice served. I have taken down a few comments but it is a slow process. One example, tonight, I took down a comment that called Nugent's mother a nasty name that no one's mother should be called and that has no redeeming benefit to this site. I want justice not vile terms regarding anyone's family. I will not take down things regarding people who choose to get involved with David Nugent and enable his continued corruption.

I will make some slight changes and will not take down anything of substance, but I want to attempt to stay above the fray and not go into "gossip" or language that is derogatory.

I am attempting to keep this as honest as possible. This is about justice not revenge and helping the Philippines not hurting people that have nothing to do with confidence man and fraud David Scott Cases Nugent and larger Corporate Governance Issues that should be addressed before Universal Studios arrives in the Philippines and you become an Asian tiger as is hoped you will be.

I believed that the Philippine people would actually take David S.C. Nugent, clearly a con artist and fraud and have him investigated by now from his illegal entry into the country, taking away a Filipino job as Nugent was not a citizen of the country until August 29, 2003 to many other pages I sent to government and media before I started blogging.

I knew that one allegation would not cut it, but David Nugent is clearly guilty of many counts of fraud to investors and people of the Philippines.

Knowing the Philippines a bit, I wanted to show overwhelming evidence that David Nugent should be personally investigated. My intention has always been about justice and helping the Philippines and personally, I was impressed by Manuel V. Pangilinan until reading so many interviews about ethics at PLDT and how he was changing the way that the Philippines does business. Pangilinan has dedicated the past few years to being totally clean and when he puts himself on an international pedistal and then does nothing in the case against David Nugent which he has actually know about for over one year, but maybe not to the extent of my resources.

I expected justice to be served and instead people want to try and drive the ship. That is over! I am doubling down on my efforts. I respected Manuel V. Pangilinan to a degree until he sat on his hands and did nothing, when the facts regarding David S.C. Nugent, who served for six years as Vice President in charge of investor relations, media relations and corporate communications and Corporate Governance Compliance Officer of a publicly traded Filipino company.

I have lost much business and moral belief in Manuel V. Pangilinan as I thought that he could have made significant reforms being elected President of the Philippines, or just running many of the largest companies in the country. If Pangilinan wants shareholder respect and international support, he should take action even knowing that David Nugent could expose all of his business dealings because when you talk about ethics you must walk the walk and not just talk the talk or you are not helping the country. Pangilinan, if you really want the Presidency, why would you not want the transparency you brag about. If you follow all of the Constitution than this would be no issue and you would pick up the phone to the BRI, DOLE and SEC and order an investigation, as they of course would comply, as you received the highest honor by PGMA, just a couple of years ago.

Some people believe that my site has been taken over or bought out and that is ridiculous. I just happen to be armed with understanding how certain levers work in the Philippines and watching what I say because any mistakes will be highly criticized.

I have been accused of "plots" by certain people who want to derail my blog as I have not caved in and asked for money. I am a fairly honest person and so I find it funny that certain elements that are concerned about how they may be affected want to play on fears and stereotypes to put me in a box and discredit my work.

I have been warned about a possible new "business" story put out on ABS-CBN and so I want to take time to tell you more about myself and hopefully answer questions, since the first piece in the Manila Standard was so unbalanced and crude.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-81005431040741198072008-04-10T03:41:00.000-04:002008-04-10T03:41:00.000-04:00this is as juicy as the ZTE controversy...this is as juicy as the ZTE controversy...pebihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03415802446780071473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-21013253938348687352008-04-09T03:54:00.000-04:002008-04-09T03:54:00.000-04:00I agree with you. So, don’t get it twisted. My comparison of you to a “party guest that nobody wanted to get stuck with” was taken from another poster’s comment in one of Brian’s entries (which, sorry to say, I think correctly describes the behavior you have exhibited here).

To wider point, my message to you was (and has always been): In order for you to compel others to listen to what you have to say, you must be able to relay that with respect, and devoid of any prejudice to the other readers of Brian’s blog. Every time you post your messages or responses with an arrogant tone, and poorly chosen words, you diminish others’ thoughts and feelings—why? Must you always have to display your bravado? Nobody cares about that. We want to hear the substance Karlo, sans the swaggering conduct…do you now understand why you get the response you have been getting? I know that you can be tactful and still make sense. You have already done this in previous posts, and people responded constructively and on point. There are others who may want to respond to you, but chose to do otherwise because of your inclination to insult and belittle opinions other than yours.

I can talk about politics and economics and world events, too; but that is not why I am here. I support and empathize with Brian in his plight against the people who took advantage of him. This same empathy has evolved to supporting what his blog now means to my fellow Filipinos. You may not be able to appreciate that because you are an American; but as a human being, you must understand the parallelisms that exist between Brian’s situation and of the Filipino people.

Now Karlo, how do you want to do this moving forward? You know I just go on “deep level 9 ignore” when I see the obnoxious comments. If you want to be heard, then don’t ever confuse eloquence with having something to say, just for the heck of it. Think.

Jesusa T.Jesusahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04711881073887490686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-68403892443096920542008-04-08T00:35:00.000-04:002008-04-08T00:35:00.000-04:00Welcome back JesusaI'm concerned about the numbers...Welcome back Jesusa

I'm concerned about the numbers because i want Brians blog to succeed, even though i don't agree with the expose with unrelated people. Some posts sound like they are coming from the same person under different id's and it began to worry me. For this blog to succeed it has to be driven by real traffic, not pseudonyms. Traffic is dependant on content not only from Brian but from people here. Interesting content. It can prosper through discussing issues and doesn't need to rely so much on scandal.

I think that in the long run people will get tired of making fun of pictures. That gets old and draws in the same ole t-hats. Things should never become so aligned in one direction or it will lose appeal. Personally, i try my best to refrain taking the contra until something worthy pops up.

Jesusa, this blog is not a party. The stakes are quite high because both sides are being affected financially big time. How we carry on here is probably much different than our real social lives dont you think?

It will be a tough job for Brian to navigate this blog, treading that fine line between keeping it interesting and not being too defamatory. Why not contribute more? You have been quiet for some time now. You make alot of sense, so does EEG if he just wouldn't twist some of my words. The fact that Americans had a small presence there had much less to do with the invasion, and you should consider yourselves lucky that they were there. The only ones who ever regreted that decision are the prostitutes who used to provide "R & R" to American assholes. I h...eeg

Turns out you’re just an asshat after all. I have tried to tolerate your disrespect for me as best I can without attacking you personally. This is clearly becoming a fruitless effort. For the last time, abusing others financially is a specific form of dishonesty. “Dishonesty” is a broad term with huge latitude and is not the generalization I was making. In a further effort to misrepresent, you imply that I assigned blame for the fall of BSC on the Philippine government when I cited that incident as “an aside”. Its insulting to even hear your lecture about the real reasons why that happened when I work in the financial industry, so spare me. Give the desperation one upping a rest already. It’s not clever, and I see it for exactly what it is - just a bunch of poop painted pink.

I love the way you shift the blame from the swindler to the victim. Nice attitude. These are not cases of failing to do homework in a business venture. Relationships based on love and trust were profoundly violated. Filipinas often marry with ulterior motives in mind. That is a fact that can be statistically proven by examining the amount of marriages per country, divorce rates, timing of separations etc. The higher incidence of broken business deals with multinationals here is another fact, and a large majority of the time the foreign businesses are on the LOSING end. I am not your fucking link boy, research this yourself. Ridiculous assumptions like Americans using Filipinas as sex slaves or maids do not merit retort. That’s just asinine conjecture on your part.

Your lack of appreciation for the amount of Americans killed while liberating your country from tyranny is flat out bewildering. Maybe the Japanese would have displaced or slaughtered you all. Equally puzzling is your failure to understand the importance of U.S. investment here and its effect on the economy. Perhaps a large scale exodus by U.S. companies will knock some gratitude into your thick skull. If that doesn’t work, maybe a baseball bat to the side of your head will.

Ingrate, keep biting the hand that feeds you. By the way I hear its official, Intel is leaving. Nugent, please do not be a hypocrite and pretend that you do not know anything about his addiction. if you were trully a friend, you wouldve dragged his ass to a detox center and to a rehab facility. none of his "so-called friends" did any of it. they just watched him wilt away. his family who were supposed to be the people whom we can run to for anything are actually the ones he was most afraid of and most uncomfortable with. Karma is a bitch. they will all burn in hell.

rest in peace Manong...tacky faggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12836844159671916766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-24953019634912643322008-04-05T06:42:00.000-04:002008-04-05T06:42:00.000-04:00eegThe existing foreign business presence here is ...eeg

The existing foreign business presence here is not enough. For the Philippine economy to grow, you need a steady influx of multinational interest to continue. Sure call centers are big business and will continue to grow and it helps things there tremendously. That niche will slowly pare off as other foreign countries wise up and start learning english better to capture a piece of the action. The point about Bear Sterns was they got burned bad and it sends a message to others to be careful. That wasn't a trival amount, 10 million is big bucks. Your country now has it and BSC is out of cash and insolvent, sort of like the DJ/Brian story.

When did i say pinoys were "inherently dishonest"? Those are YOUR words. I said Pinoys abusing others for financial gain seems like its in the bloodline. That opinion is shared by much of your own, not just by me! Go read all the whining on this blog about abuse of power and Pinoys swindling each other if you don't believe me. I don't necessarily believe in stereotypes but many exist for a good reason. Indeed, some here have said "Its guys like DJ that give us a bad name". Yes, and the cases go way beyond the likes of him. Countless foreign guys marrying filipinas have been duped just for citizenship. I personally have heard these nightmares, including a woman who left a friend with 3 kids THE DAY SHE GOT HER CITIZENSHIP. Such happenings are not commonplace among Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian or Malaysian women. Only among Filipinas. That is an unfortunate fact but one nevertheless and is just one area of many where such deception for financial gain or otherwise takes place.

Btw, i have always been very opposed the the Iraq war and have previously stated that this blog is akin to that entire deceptive war effort. Many fucked up things go on in the U.S. but we are not dealing with a heterogenous population there. This blog is not about that war or serial killers in America, its about getting money back from DJ and focusing on that, not the entire charade of peripheral characters mentioned on this blog. At least we agree on one point. But i say if your country is to take the next step up, these shennanigans taking place with DJ on up to dealings within the government must stop. Then and only then will you have decent roads. Or a larger middle class.administratorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08017175967993177356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-31585485204573394642008-04-05T05:29:00.000-04:002008-04-05T05:29:00.000-04:00Hmmmm This makes sense as it unravels the truth on...Hmmmm This makes sense as it unravels the truth on the death to the Tantoco Scion..... "natural causes" huh? This shouldbe the very reason why we all should continue to read the blog of Brian. It informs us of the hypocrisy of the so called "high society" including monkey face Binay who blatanly lied about the cause of death ( Perhaps another wannabee member of the Family?)and the evils of what drugs can do. The columns of both Tim and Celine on the death of the death of the Tantoco scion is both Banal and vacous. Crappy "writers" is what they are....including thier ghost writers! ha ha ha!

Congratulations again Brian for such an excellent post! Keep going and we will always be here for you!! However you yourself cannot argue that her credibility is seriously suspect given even 1/2 of Brian's allegations and her rather self-serving publicized "tribute". I choose to believe Brian's allegations and while I was not there at the funeral to observe Ms. Lopez, you will not fault me for not giving your own personal observations and the conclusions you draw from such observations, much weight.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09973468325385494388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-41535543675961747412008-04-05T04:40:00.000-04:002008-04-05T04:40:00.000-04:00DRUGUCCI GANG !!!who else will expose the truth ex...DRUGUCCI GANG !!!

who else will expose the truth except you Brian !!!

reveal the TRUTH,

this is what we are fighting for-

REAL JUSTICE !!!vanidosahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01672725160610928890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-52062719997951701762008-04-05T04:32:00.000-04:002008-04-05T04:32:00.000-04:00Lurker said: when i started reading this blog i sy...Lurker said: when i started reading this blog i sympathised with brian. But over the last few weeks it seems to be simply a money making ploy fueled by fiery allegations. What if DJ , celine, brian are ALL in thsi together and this is just a money aking scam??
----------------------------------

hey lurker,I am very cynical myself, but if you can pull off a scam like you say Brian, DJ, and Celine are capable of doing, I say you can keep all the money, including mine, cuz I would admire them all for being geniuses. However ask yourself, is the animosity and hatred that DJ and Celine is experiencing now really worth the money from this "scam". I also suspect that most things that Brian has said thus far is verifiable.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09973468325385494388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-22086445661799873002008-04-05T01:48:00.000-04:002008-04-05T01:48:00.000-04:00In this country the most famous coverup of drug OD...In this country the most famous coverup of drug OD deaths are always pancreatitis or "bangungot" as they call it in Filipino. This whole episode is but a prologue to the whole high society scandal exposed by Brian, and I'm sure there are just so many other salacious and controversial things that have happened that have been swept under the rug. I feel sorry for JT and all the others who have died because they just didn't know how to live their privileged and sheltered lives.Dawn Selyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15611171709215910653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510366480931064584.post-34608030806598272522008-04-04T18:50:00.000-04:002008-04-04T18:50:00.000-04:00Jill said..."Their family (Rico and Nena Tantoco's...Jill said...

"Their family (Rico and Nena Tantoco's) is the most "normal" and stable in the Tantoco clan."

What do you mean by this?
