DJ Montano and I were lovers for almost a year and for five months of that, I was in Australia making and sending him money for our Portuguese restaurant called Bonza, in the new Greenbelt phase which is yet to be completed.
The owner Antonio was kept away from me and now I know why. Any meeting that we were to have to discuss progress was cancelled at the last minute due to Antonio's 'schedule'.
Antonio does, not or has never known about me, or the money that is helping to open his establishment. But he will know soon enough. As will every person attached to the money that has been taken from me in the name of his or her business is, by DJ Montano.
I have found out that DJ actually used part of my money to pay off a debt of his own making that his family was being threatened over.
It was his debt from his previous restaurant that he had shunned responsibility for, for over three years. Finally, the guy got fed up and threatened to sue his family. This made DJ jump like a roo. He begged me for fifty thousand dollars while I was still in Australia preparing to move to Boracay. But I had not sold my house yet and could not raise such lofty sums on such short notice.
He was cross with me. Hung up the phone and would not speak to me until I sent the money. And soon enough, he got his devious little hands directly into my bank account.
I know this debt to be factual; as I know the man he owed the money to and eventually paid. He introduced himself to me on Boracay because a mate told him who I was and what I had been through with DJ.
DJ and I shared our time together until our relationship ended at the end of last year due to an 'altercation' we had at the Intercontinental Hotel, after I demanded to know where all my money had gone.
My mother had become concerned at the amounts I was transferring and triggered my own fears. I still trusted him and loved him at this point. Stupid man I was.
He changed in the hotel room after I demanded to see proof of the bank accounts he said he had opened in both of our names. He transformed within seconds into a person I had never met before.
He threw himself at me and I was stunned. I begged him to calm down, but he knew this was it. Make or break for him. My money was in the balance and he did NOT want or have it to give back to me. It was gone, not unlike his morals, dignity and self-respect. Just plain gone!
At one point, I pushed him off me and he hit the corner of the bed falling to the floor, where he literally screamed like a little girl. It was truly pathetic to watch. I was shocked because he immediately started to scream assault. DJ Montano is an evil little creature. I believe in my heart of hearts, he pre-planned the entire thing. He had to get rid of me... but somehow keep my money that clever little critter.
Post altercation, he tried (with the help of his Celine Lopez's ex-fiancé Marcel Crespo to have me fitted up with an assault charge which was bogus and dismissed by the police without a mention.
When he left my hotel room after I left for gym, he stole many things from my room.
1. Brand new Yogi shoes which I had yet to wear which cost 500 dollars
2. 2 new Tsubi tops and tsubi jeans which cost US1800
3. Brand new Tom Ford Sunglasses which were US900
4. Three bottles on duty free scent which were US300
5. Teeth whitening kit which was US1000
6. Very expensive necklace worth US 3000 dollars
7. Plane ticket to Bora for 6000 pesos
8. 250,000 pesos
He was trying his hardest to revive it and bring a charge against me, which has failed.
He is only doing this to counter the truth coming from me and my friends in an attempt to illicit sympathy from his own stable of so called 'friends'.
Panic attacks my ass. Lay off the drugs mate. And cut down your anti d intake mate.
But his reputation is shocking because of what he has done to me and for what he has done to others.
And the majority of the group know it. But some choose to look the other way therefore enabling him to continue along his path of destruction and total disregard for the concern of others.
On Bora, DJ owes so many people money for cocaine. I know four people he owes a total of about 240,000 pesos to. And they are pissed. They look for him always.
Even the police know he is a liar. I told them on Boracay that he was threatening to have me thrown off the island. They laughed.
I deserved so much better than that carnival of sideshow freaks and illusionists I was around for a while.

I hired two security guards for three weeks because he was telling people he was going to have me thrown out of the Philippines.
His family is actually powerless and poor. They fear me more now than I fear them. All smoke and mirrors. DJ is from a family long littered with corruption and thievery. The grandfather was a crook and the father a mere mercenary. Killed because of his treachery and deception. Money people are chasing his uncle due to his corruption.
You could not even imagine what he and this has done to me. No one could. Unless you have been dragged through the quagmire of 'DJ's' makebelieveland' with its razor lined cul de sacs, glass infested playgrounds and transparent hollow suburbs.

He told me that his connections with the DOT were sure to launch our business on Boracay. He said over and over until I was convinced. I have contacted the DOT and they were stunned by my story.

He used my money to fly back and forth to Singapore to be with his other boyfriend who I only found out about because he has one friend in particular who has helped me come to terms with what he turned out to be.

When I am safely out of the Philippines, I plan on telling everything I know about him and his enablers.

I was so stupid, I believed him.

BTW, PhilStar's Millet Mananquil should take responsibility for giving these coke fiends columns in the newspaper. Im so sorry this happened to you Brian... If there's one piece of advice I can give to foreigners when they're dating Filipinos, is that, Run the other way when your partner starts asking you for money! Thats been usually the trend here, to snag foreigners and use them for their $$$. If they are decent, trust me, they would say no when you try to hand them some cash (except for special occasions I think).

I was at a meeting tonight and was asked about having read your story. Well, I did hear about it from a friend a few days ago but ignored it when I heard the names DJ and Celine. I don't personally know them but met and know of them. I wasn't interested. Tonight I finally decided to read on because I heard this time it's about money and the deception of love.
I have been a victim of such. My relationship with this ex-fashion model who still claims to be straight to the unsuspecting society is almost the same but maybe not at that grand scale. He would always ask me to buy him this amd that with the idea of payback on installment since he does not have a regular job but to broker real estate for Rockwell.
He does make money sometimes but at that time I met and knew him, he never sold a unit so no income for 9 months I was dating him.
He was so poor he would ask the janitor of the condominium he stays in to buy him food from the corner stall at a budget and does come from a poor family background the mother having been a "japayuki" in the early years.
Anyway, he would however make me pay for more expensive meals of his choosing. And when invited by a richer aunt, he would always order the most expensive in the menu and would ask me to do the same and eat the same from my plate.
He made me a partner in crime as well so to speak. When inlove we are somehow blinded by what you have and what the other does not so to please the guy you would give in in the name of LOVE. I know today I laugh and call myself stupid. He still ows me close to Php250,000.00 and refuses to pay. His mother who I was constantly communicating with daily then was also somehow responsible in convincing me to give in to the whims of CB because as she explained to me is something she never did for him and her children. When the issue of collection came it ended the relationship and the mother as well just sided and kept a blind eye to the truth and facts. She loves him afterall. Really similar to your story, he was a social climber and pretensious he would claim to the unsuspecting he lives or has units in Rockwell to impress many when in fact he lives in a side street of Rockwell. But he always had the key to his aunt's unit there so when vacant he would bring his rich male prospects there to have sex and to think he is rich, a lawyer " he never passed the board" and equal to many. Sad as it is it is still on going and many preys are victimized. Hay the story will not end here. I have kept quiet about this for some 8 years but now that I've read a similar story, I guess I just had to share this.
We are technically victims of blind love and good intentions while the other party really has planned the scam from the very start.

it is very true that these people snort their cocaine in the hollowed and pretentious halls of embassy. and they do it inside the Dj's booth in the main room. access to it is through the VIP area. celebs, models and particularly the involved persons go in an out of this booth during party nights like friday and saturday. its not easy to get in though as there are usually two bouncers at the door. being friends with the dj's, eric cua and the said persons is a sure entry inside. but if you get lucky, what youll see inside is coke heaven. pay up and snort away!

So this is what everyone has been talking about, very interesting indeed. I was surprised to see how manipulative and two-faced DJ could be, I did not know him on a personal basis but it's hard to imagine a human being willing to do what he has done for satisfaction and to be accepted by society(even though what he has been doing has done the exact opposite). I will keep reading, this has me at the edge of my seat!

i saw the entourage of tim yap and celine at greenbelt last year. she constantly visits the washroom and it takes her soooo long. that's why i was pissed with her. was one of the people who had to stand in line while she snorts coke in a public washroom. the nerve of these people and they get written as fashion icons!!!

Brian, I support you in making up this blog to get back at these evil people who live off the hard earned money of other people. I agree with you that the court system here sucks. While I may not have any experience with other court systems in other countries, DELAYS, more delays is the most prominent feature in Philippine courts. It is the system here. the lawyers earn more money when a case is delayed, postponed etc. They go through the motions of trying to find justice but they are more interested in sucking the last penny they can from their clients. The more delay, the more money for them. Plain and simple. Documents of all sorts are filed in order to create more delays. And considering the backlog of cases here, the next hearing is scheduled after at least 3 - 6 months and in the meantime, while you are "wasting" your time waiting for the next hearing to arrive, the swindler is enjoying your hard earned money. This is the real court system here. In fact, it might even be cheaper to just shoot or salvage the sons of bitches that swindled you than to try to get farced up justice here where justice is very often for sale in the first place. What a joke when I hear the words

What happened to you is such a horrible thing. I can't even begin to imagine where you draw your strength from. Keep fighting for justice, and in time the truth will set you free.
As for the people you are refering to, I do hope they finally come out in the open and tell the truth. After all, everyone knows that the "socialites" snort cocaine, it's their vitamin, it's their "power." Stop acting like you're better than the others out there because truth of the matter is YOU'RE NOT. Let it go, you don't need to be popular to be happy. Being happy is a way of life, you don't get it from drugs... you're all going downhill from here. But hey at least you've finally gotten your names to be permanently written in history (which after all is what you all want anyway).
Situations like these cause people to doubt the honesty and integrity of the Filipino people, shame on you DJ and Celine for further ruining the reputation of our fellow countrymen. You should both hide from society for the rest of your lives lest you want to permanently make Filipinos the worst people to deal with.
I wonder why the media still disguises these blog posts as gossips or chismis?? With the evidences clearly being brought up and the repercussions that it's setting on the people involved (ex.
