The headline says it all.
It's all too tragic this time of year in Australia.
It really does burn and we really do cry.
I've lived through many fire seasons back home which takes it's toll.
The amount of animals killed is heart breaking.
Just heart breaking.
And when people die, well it destroys the nations moral.
It's devastating.
Mother nature can be a complete bitch.
I remember sun baking on the beach with friends, and ash started to fall all around us.
Some bits were still on fire.
The neighboring suburb was ablaze. Literally on fire. We could see the flames from our spot on the beach.
But we were tanning. and drinking beers.
That's Australia.
